Rockinghorse Event Management is a branch within our childcare company. Quite simply, we have evolved to a point where we can provide child care in many different settings. In association with Headstorm - www.headstorm.org.uk - a young but capable event management company, Rockinghorse can now help you plan for any occasion - as small as a child's party, and as big as a 500 place dinner function.
Our child carers are all fully checked, working nannies. Many have worked through us for years and are used to covering an extremely diverse range of events and situations. This enables us to plan an event with a hands-on, experienced professional at the helm, giving us the ability to cover for all eventualities. With over eight thousand nannies' details listed we feel able to tackle the biggest challenges you can throw at us!
To date, we have arranged child care for events held in various venues, including:
RAC Club in Pall Mall.
If you are looking to plan any event which will involve child care, please call us on 01869 343600, fax us on 01869 343111, or e-mail us at email@example.com We will be glad to explore your needs and provide a competitive quote.
Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons (Raymond Blanc's World-famous hotel/ restaurant).
Grey's Court National Trust house and garden in Henley.
We are looking to provide future events for nannies to be involved in. Any suggestions you have would be most appreciated! E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to discuss your idea. If you already have an event you think other nannies may want to be involved in please let us know that, too.
Right now, YOU can help us with an event we are currently planning.
In the Spring of 2003 (exact date yet to be arranged) we are looking to organise a sponsored pram push around Oxford for charity! The Charity it is for is the Bateman's Trust, a small trust which runs and organises St Georges' School and Orphanage in Madras, India. Hatty and James Cridland (owners of Rockinghorse) have been friends of the Trustees for many years so when Alex Thompson, Head Trustee, asked us if we would get involved we jumped at the chance!
A little information, written by Alex, is given below. We will announce further details here soon, but please contact us with any suggestions whatsoever - we will entertain any ideas you have! You can access their website here: www.batemanstrust.freeserve.co.uk
"St. Georges School and Orphanage in Madras cares for poor and destitute children. It feeds, clothes and educates them and gives them a chance of a more secure future.
Alex, Claire, Tony, Guy, Lisa and Geoff all went to Agricultural College together and they shared a cottage called "Batemans". Following their involvement with St. Georges they have set up "The Batemans Trust" to support the school which offers the children so much and is desperately short of funds.
It costs just £120 to support a child for a year (that's just £10 per month) and that will cover everything the child needs. However, there are other ways in which you can help - it does not matter how small a gift you give - whatever you give will help to change a child's life and make sunny smiles brighter!"
I think that says it all so please contact us and see if, between us, we can make a difference while we have a great day!
